| Volume Adjustment for
the M12 Vista Amplified Base The M12 Base has two (2) potentiometers for adjustment. the top wheel is for inbound volume and may be adjusted to taste. Outbound volume is adjusted by removing the panel on the left side of the M12, then moving the white potentiometer clockwise for volume increase or counterclockwise for volume decrease. Use the gray tool attached to the bottom of the M12 or a small, slotted screwdriver to make adjustments to the white potentiometer. It is recommended that you make a test call to someone while adjusting the outbound volume so that you verify correct levels. Note: It is recommended that the volume control on the telephone be lowered once the Headset is activated to avoid "clipping" or poor sound quality due to overdriving the internal amplifier. Use the M12 Vista to control the volume. Be sure to save the setting once you have adjusted the telephone's volume control down.
